Wow sweetheart! I love the pillows! My quilting project is taking forever. I never seem t have more than 30 minutes to myself before I'm having to feed or change or entertain a baby....

right ladies need help please... ive just picked up my quilt again having not touched it since feb and am struggling to find a walking foot for my machine. i think this is because a) i have an old/cheap machine and b) i dont really know what im looking for. so i have a janome cj14 and no instruction manual for it. so if you wonderful ladies can find a uk supplier for a walking foot ( to prevent my puckering problem) i will be very grateful

Can I join?

I just started on my very first quilt, the top is now done, and I am in the process of putting my 3 layers together now, I am hoping to have it all done by the end of tomorrow so I can start my next one

Just google quilt binding tutorial. I like doing bias binding, but there are other ways to do it too. If you have any specific questions about it once you decide which method to use I can help

thnaks - got my binding material today, all washed and ironed ready to go. i looked at some vids on bias binding and found it really complicated esp since Im new to all this. Ive decided to go with double binding (it looks easier) and think i can do a tidy job of it. im hoping to finish the quilt by today...so excited!

in hindsight i would have liked to put some kind of message on it ...love from mummy etc but i guess its too late for that?
