I am from Austin, Texas. Looking for affordable IVF and found out about one by Dr. Garza, just next to Brownsville, Texas. Probably a mile or so from the border.
I did lots of research, not many of it, but nothing negative either. I just got a reply from Dr. Garza of the cost. I read few ppl have success with it but again I cannot find that many. The cost is $2500 and $1000 with meds, 2nd round $1500 with med, 3rd round just med cost. Since I am 39, he said my chances is about 24% and will drop to 18% when I am 40.
I don't really question about his clinic or expertise, I am more concerns about safety. I did some research and the town not really safe, but it will be okay if follows all the advise from the US Embassy/Consulate there. Good thing the US consulate only few blocks from the clinic. I did some google map
I tried to search on this topic here but none. Is any of you done IVF in Mexico?
Hi Rona! I specifically joined this board just to be able to contact you. I realized this post is old, and hopefully by now you have one or two beautiful babies driving you nuts in a good way! anyhow, I also live in Austin Texas and I came across your post regarding IVF in Mexico. I am very interested in knowing more about your experience with the clinic you mentioned. I am in desperate need for information and would greatly appreciate it if you would reply to my post regarding this subject. I am currently 39 and after 3 miscarriages and a very low AMH level, I am running out of options and time (not to mention money)
Hi Vibebe and 33andwaiting. I ended going to CNY Fertility in Albany, NY. I travel from Austin and purchased 3 cycles of fresh and 3 cycles of FET. It cost $7500 and half downpayment. But now they have full finance with CNY itself. No need to get loan from bank or such. Directly with them. You can pay installment 12 to 36 months I think.
