Today's ultrasound is very disappointing.....we decided to go ahead with the IUI and I will trigger tonight and have it done 8:30am this Monday. My lining is good (somewhere around 10mm and the one follicle is 21.8mm...) Doctor said it's a nice size and that it only takes one because that is what women normally have each month who do get pregnant...so naturally I am trying to stay positive....
Maybe with less eggs to go after, DH's sperm will be more focused on just the one so the job will get done this time around.
Wonder why your body can respond so differently to clomid each time you take it...I took 100mg last time and had 3 follies, this time same thing, but only 1?
I know how you feel - all of my months on clomid even at 150 mg I only ever produced one follicle. I know it is hard to stay positive, but just remember it only takes one and most of the women who get pregnant without any assisted conception do it with just one follicle. Remain positive!! The stress of being upset about only having one is not going to help. Hang in there!!
You guys are great....all the support and well wishes mean a lot!
I am trying to not stress over it....my doctor does acupuncture before and during (he leaves the needles in while doing the iui)..so that really chills me out...looking forward to that.... It only does take one.....maybe this one will be the one!
Good luck Hockey24 on Tuesday! You're gonna be one day behind me...
