Rosababy, Fx'd for you on Friday.

My 1st scan is Fri and then the RE will determine if I begin Lupon the next dy. I'm planning on finding a few good youtube videos to walk dh & I through the injections.

Very exciting! Glad you have insurance. That'll take the pressure off a bit.

Thanks! good luck! Does your clinic give you a needle teach class? You'll find it's not as bad as you think it is. It's super easy.

Glad to hear the sono went well Always good to follow up with your MD about it, but I think its great news that they didn't find anything other than an egg Maybe you'll be one of those lucky ladies who are "waiting for IVF" and get pregnant on their own!

Constance - the injections are super easy! once you do the first one you'll think "wow I was stressing about this for nothing!" I had a teaching session with a nurse on how to use the injections and that stressed me out more than actually doing the injection myself.

GOOD luck on Friday!!!

Good luck Rasababy!!

Sooo...I had my last blood draw yesterday (for pre-treatment work-up) and then they said they couldn't see us until Jan to go over results - which put us back a whole other cycle. This is the third time we have been pushed out because the MD is traveling...

So I got angry and disappointed, I am tired of waiting for my life to begin for crying out loud. I found a new doctor and when I explained what we are going through and that AF is due to arrive on the 23rd, the NEW doctor - who doesn't even know us - agreed to come in early on the 20th and see us!!! I think this is going to be a MUCH better fit. So I still might be able to start things with the next cycle!!! Is it weird that even though I am told we aren't good candidates for IUI - I am hoping she will recommend this?!? I just feel like it is more of a baby step than going straight to the big show, lol. But then again - I just want to do whatever will work, so if it's straight to IVF than se la vie!!!

Having a great feeling about the new doctor already - and best part is it is a female and did her fellowship with the National Institute of Health!! And after all this, when I said I didn't want to go to the other doc anymore, DH said he didn't like him anyway!! Why didn't he tell me sooner!!! We could have changed months ago! He likes the idea of female too!! Go figure.

SO glad to hear that you have found a new doctor and are able to get in so quickly and keep "on track".

As for me - I am switching clinics and this has caused a set back. We right now don't have an appointment at the new clinic till the 22nd of February. Hoping there is a cancellation before then! If not I won't be looking at an IVF cycle till March / April. I'll keep my eyes on the thread and watch all you journey through an IVF cycle.

Springy - I am so sorry that you are going to have wait even longer now!!! I know how I felt when I was told to wait - it gets old - I have been WAITING for YEARS!!! I think it is even worse when you decide to get help, everything has felt much more urgent. Like - I been trying all this time and finally admit there is an issue and I'm here because I want treatment NOW, lol.

FX'd that someone will cancel their appointment!!!
