IVF buddies for May

Hi all

In April we start our first cycle of IVF. I am on the long protocol, so start down regging on 6th of April with Egg retrieval the second week in May. It would be good to hear from anyone going through it around about the same time. At the moment I'm feeling a bit apprehensive about the whole thing and not very optimistic, but hopefully once we get going it'll be better.

Oops, didn't mean to post then. Anyway, would be good to hear from any of you - this is my first ever post. We've been trying for two years. I'm 42, my partner is 45 and our tests results are all okay.

HI Apple - there is a thread started for IVF in June/July/Aug but there are girls on there that are starting earlier. I should be starting in May as well. You should join us there.
