Hi Ladies

I am beginning the route of egg sharing at London's Women's Clinic in Swansea and I'm wondering if any of you are currently or have already been through the process?

I have had initial consultation on Jan 25th.
AMH bloods taken CD4 on Feb 14th.
AMH result of 9.67 on Feb 28th. Devastated!
Had baseline scan on CD3 of next cycle. Found 18 antral follicles so repeated AMH.
AMH result of 26.33 on Mar 16th. Got go ahead for egg share!

Now got appointment for counselling and more bloods to test for genetic disorders and syndromes tomorrow.

Does anyone know if there are any more tests after that? I know it takes 4 weeks for the bloods to come back but then will I be matched with another woman? Roughly how long does it take to match with another woman? I will be asking LWC tomorrow but don't know if they will be willing to set a timeline for treatment because I know so many factors make a difference.

Feels like it has taken so long already because of doing the AMH twice and having to keep waiting for next period to arrive. I hate injections but can't wait for them to start as then it will feel like things are actually moving on and my BFP will be coming closer (and hopefully another woman's BFP too! )

I will also be egg sharing hopefully, but unfortantley I am waiting to have my follow up after my first ICSI ended in MC. I have done quite a bit of reading on another forum and it seems to really vary from clinic to clinic... There is a lady called Appleblossom who has just done sharing so it might be worth having a look at her journo. Unfortantley it didnt work for her

I'll defo be keeping an eye on this thread to see how you get on xxx

Its the differences from one clinic to another that had me confused as to how many tests our particular clinic do.

Saw them yesterday and all was great. Had the final bloods taken to check for chromosome defects and cystic fibrosis, a vaginal smear and urine test for chlamydia. I ring them in 3 weeks hoping the bloods are back, then they match me with someone and send me first drugs through the post (got to go on the pill for a shirt while to match my cycle with the egg recipient). So it feels like thing are really moving on now I try and think of it as everyday I am that bit closer to a BFP.

Sorry to hear about your MC. Do you know when you'll be going through the egg share process?
