I think it 7 for the photos...took 5min.
You need to provide details of both sets of parents on a letter...showing there full name, dob, place of birth and then details of their marriage. if like me you dont have certain details you just to provide what you can and explain any thing that missing.

i dont think u need to go for a interview on the fast track for under 16yr old...but i may be wrong.

Ah excellent, not too bad then. I had a look at there's one 3 miles away.

I had a look on the direct gov website and it says I need to make an appointment... not sure what that entails though.

Thanks, Only think i'll need to find out is their marriage details (even though divorced now). Gone abit mad with all the info they need but fair enough :-) Thanks hun, really appreciate that as not something I would have known from the website.

xxx

yea it a new law brought out this past year that one born after 1982 is not automatically British, but you have to prove your parents and/or grandparents were born here.

I didnt realise any of this...neither did the guy at the postoffice so has to send all the supporting docs separtly...just praying they do it on time as flying at the end of the month. (stupid of me to book flights without passport i know!)

when i spoke to the IPS they said the interviews were only for over 16, but maybe if your fast tracking then maybe it to hand in the info.

Hope it all gets done real quick!

Ah I see. Makes sense. Will make sure I have all the details when I go up then.

ah that's annoying, so you'd done the check and send service to make it faster. God I hope you get it back in time. Still a couple of weeks so fingers crossed.

Yeah I expect so, so they can check through it all with you there.
Cool will start putting it all together then.

Thanks again all!
