my baby hates tummy time, what to do?

my baby girl hates tummy time and gets very upset everytime we do it. Any tips?
Dr. said to do more of it at home to exercise neck muscle and to prevent flat head back

she also said by 3mos she should be holding her head up for a bit while on the tummy

when did ur baby hold up their head? when i hold her upright she can for a bit and trys to balance her head.

I wouldn't worry about it. My dd hated tummy time too so she never really had any, it didn't cause any problems for us. She had good head control early on and didn't have any flat head issues.

Have you tried doing tummy time with her lying on your chest? Ds1 hated tummy time but enjoyed interacting with me face to face and it served the same purpose in strengthening his neck muscles.

Oh yes, this and also try putting a small wedge/ cushion under her chest to make her more comfortable. My LO liked it better this way

You can po a rolled up lancet under their chest to make the, a bit more comfortable. My LO hated it until we'll past 4 months and is now ninja rolling all over the place. She'll happily spent 40 minutes playing on the floor these days.x

My 3 month old stil hates tummy time so i lay her on my chest. She's got good neck/ head control and can sit up for a while (not unaided obviously).
I tried tummy time today but after 3 minutes she got annoyed. I can't make her do it or shell just lay there and cry.
Try tummy time on your tummy I call it mummy tummy tummy time lol

My son never did tummy time and was just fine and rolled, crawled, sat up, great head control somewhat early.
LO laying on her tummy on you does count, so do that.
