Baby cries whenever I put him down...

Wondering if anyone has dealt with this:

Our baby boy is a little over a month old and whenever we put him down (because my arms do get tired from carrying him all day) he's happy for maybe a couple minutes and then starts to cry. Since I am against letting him "cry it out" at such a young age he ends up back in my arms. Is this just a phase he is going through that will eventually change?

On a sidenote, he is good about being put to bed at night (he sleeps in his crib in his own room) and although we have the odd night where he cries and is wide awake he is a decent sleeper.

It is completely normal. Your baby is so tiny still and he will grow out of it.

Honestly enjoy the cuddles they dont last long

My son was like that until about 6 weeks.. then he grew out of it.. now he cries if I hold him too long! It was exhausting but now I miss the days where he would cuddle up with me and fall asleep!

Enjoy it, I made the most of it and I'm glad I did, my lo is such a wiggle worm now. If your arms are getting too tired you could get a baby carrier my suggestion would be a wrap or ring sling for this. Enjoy your lo.

I am going through this at the moment, so I have ordered a sling! Still waiting for it to be delivered so I can't say yet if it's helped or not,but hopefully this will allow me to get on with things around the home.

It is totally normal, your baby is still so young and needs to feel close to you. Try using a wrap or baby carrier so you can wear your baby and get stuff done.
