my childrens names


ive had quite a few PMs from members wondering how to pronounce Rhys & Ffion..

so ive changed my signiture to include how to say them

I thought it was really obvious! Although I was brought up in Wales until I was 7...maybe I remembered more than I thought. Lovely names anyway!

I always have to correct myself with Niamh ... my head tells me its how i read it Ni -a ma but when i open my mouth to say it it comes out Neeeeve

Strange

I thought Rhys and Ffion were obvious though

Yeah, a lot of people read it as Ni-ah-me or Naomi

I wonder if I should do that!

I must admit I guessed right on Ffion and Rhys is a well known Welsh one I think.

I worked in a Catholic school and there were looooads of Niamh's so that one didnt get past me

I have often wondered how you pronounce hebe

though rhys and ffion were obvious

nope.. ive always had the odd pm or two about Rhys & Ffions name but recently ive had quite a few
