Is the jumperoo worth it?

I know most babies love them, and I'm pretty sure my LO will too because she loves to bounce. But I read that it's only recommended to keep them in it for 15 minutes a day because it's not good for their hips. So it seems like I'd barely be using it enough to make the cost worth it. It's not like I want to leave her in it all day or anything, but I can't really get anything done around the house in 15 minutes, and that's what it would be used for. Do you find that it's worth it?

I'm pretty sure very few ladies on this forum only leave their LO's in it for 15 minutes. I leave Callum in it until he doesn't want to be in anymore. Gives me a chance to eat something, get some dishes done. That being said, he's only it in once a day. He tolerates it for about an hour so I don't put him in it anymore if he's already been in that day.

I'd say it's definitely worth it. I don't know where I'd be without it. He's close to crawling now though so doesn't tolerate it as long as he used to because he wants to be on the floor practicing. It will be a sad day when we pack it up.

I am so jealous of you ladies whose babies happily chill in a bouncer, swing, jumperoo lol.

Lane was okaaaaaaay with the jumperoo; I can count on both hands the number of times she went nuts jumping like mad in it. Mostly she just tolerated it and would not last more than a few minutes. She wasn't in it that often - she was pretty bored. I don't think I ever got 15 minutes out of her!

Get an exersaucer for now.
We bought a jumperoo (used) and our DD is 6m old and at the lowest setting, her feet touch tip toes to the floor.
So your LO may still be too short for a jumperoo right now (at least with the one we have, maybe other brands have a lower setting).

It is worth it though, BUT try to find a used one. Do you have consignment shops around you? We have one called Once Upon a Child. That's where we bought ours from. It looks almost brand new other than scuff marks on the bottom, and we paid $40 for it... less than half the price new.

We had the problem with it not being low enough, also, but solved the problem by putting a flat pillow underneath her feet

Our babe LOVES the Jumperoo (and so do I)! Sometimes she spends up to 45 minutes in it. Heck, she yells at the butterfly and the parrot for a good 15 minutes alone, how could I possibly take her out mid-conversation?

I have a jumperoo and my 5 month old loves it! He jumps, spins, and smashed all of the buttons on it. Our has a nifty mirror he likes to look into and he enjoys his time in it. He is usually in his jumperoo for about 30 minutes and whines when he is done. It gives me time to eat, clean a bit, and snuggle on the couch. Well worth the money IMO.
