It's just hard for moms of high needs babies to feel like they've done something "wrong" to have a child with an intense temperament. Having a child like this really makes you understand that we have less control than we might believe.
Thats true, I had mine glued to me. I rather the prevention than cure.

I do not allow DD2 to cry. She is a very chilled baby for the most part so a cry is always because something is amiss! I find because I have attended to her straight away she does not cry, just lets out a warning grumpy noise. She has no need to sob straight away because she knows it is unnecessary in getting my attention.

Aww no, Rory doesn't sob! If he does theres something seriously wrong like bumped head!
