Does babies/toddlers heart beat faster than adults?


Like the title say's, my DD is 14 months old so she's inbetween baby and toddler, my DH keeps saying her heart is beating fast but im sure they beat faster than adults anyway

Yes heart rate is faster in younger babies and younger children. A little one of your child's age is usually 90-140

yeah its normal. I even remember when having an early scan at 7weeks in hospital they said they knew it was the babies heart beat not mine as babies hearts beat faster.

Every time I pick my little girl up I can feel her heart beating and it is sooooo fast!! Wonder when it slows down actually?
