My baby had her 4 month shots on Wednesday, the next day she got a hard red bump at the injection site on her leg, I called the doctors office and they said it is normal and to try to massage it. So, I've tried that and she still has it and we have noticed she keeps kinda twitching/kicking that leg...maybe it is just bothering her? She doesn't seem to be in pain though and is acting normal otherwise..anyone had this happen? Thinking maybe I should call the doctor again if she keeps kicking that leg.
Sometimes vaccine sites get a bruised feeling and a bit achey so that's probably why she seems to be a bit uncomfortable. I doubt it's anything more than that. As for the lump, Joni had that too, can't remember how long for but I think it lasted around a week with the MMR so it can be there for a few days and still be normal xxx
