Yep. Or asking what time something starts, like what time does church start? Every single week. Even though he's been going his whole entire life and its started the same time every single week. Not sure why he can't seem to remember without asking me...

This is EXACTLY how Luke's dad is. He seriously tried getting me to scratch his face one day because he was holding Luke and Luke was sleeping! I so wanted to say "Yeah, I'll scratch your face.. more like claw your freaking face off, dickwad".

same here and it's our second kid! I just go to another room now so he can change it without me. Yesterday he changed it, I came back home after 30 minutes away and grey was soaking wet. That's how daddy put his diaper on. Certified useless I swear.

One time OH was going to take a shower and he asked me to get a towel and hang it on the door for him. He was literally 3 feet away from the cabinet with the towels. since then i dont expect much from him,and am not surprised when he cant handle trivial things concerning LO lol

My OH used to do stuff like this. Every time he did I reminded him I am alone with LO ALL DAY and I figured it out. He would say things like "Can you hold her I have to pee" (put shoes on...get a diaper out....get up from the couch...eat, etc) and having him do it without help REALLY made a difference in his appreciation for what I do. Also having a few days home with her for several hours at a time helped. I think most guys (or ladies, anyone really) mean well, but they just aren't as experienced as a stay at home parent.

Yep, same here. But you know what they can do one handed and we can't? Peeing while holding the baby. Cracks me up every time. He even gives our son a play by play instruction.
