"Aren't you going to lay it out for me?!"

I am seriously amazed that adult men make it as far in life as they are.

Yesterday, Luke's dad and I went Christmas shopping for our families, and afterward he came back to my house to play with Luke while I wrapped all the presents. (I like wrapping presents and since I'm with Luke 24/7 its kind of nice to have a break to be able to do something OTHER than entertain my baby. Not that I don't love him or being with him, but I like being able to do other things too).

So in the middle of me wrapping presents, Luke needs a diaper change. His dad is holding him, so he asked me to go get a diaper and wipes and blanket to lay him down on. I stop what I'm doing and get up and go get everything and set it down next to him on the couch and I sit back down on the floor to continue wrapping. Then the dumb ass says to me "You're not going to lay it all out for me?????" All sorts of pissed off like it was such a difficult task to hold a baby and lay the blanket out. I looked at him and asked him how the fuck he thinks I do it every time because I don't have someone holding MY hand 24/7! I hold the baby, make dinner, pick things up, clean, etc.

For fuck sake.

Are they all this incapable?!

LOL! Wow. You poor thing. Been there. Totally been there. Sometimes I feel like I have to hand hold for every little thing too, but I do love him, and he's a great father

Yeah, mine does it too. He's perfectly willing to change diapers if I ask him to, but he wants me to go get the diaper, the wipes, etc. I don't know why he's not capable of doing that, just me? LOL. I'm just happy he at least will change them, though!
Probably just hormones, and it does get frustrating!

At times I feel like I have 3 children. My DH has a really bad habit of asking me where everything is, even if he knows. I just ignore him now otherwise I can feel my blood pressure building

That's how Luke's dad is! It's like he thinks he's going to break him or something. He won't even move him if Luke falls asleep on him and then slides in between his arm, his body and the chair. So poor Luke is squished in between him and the couch in the most uncomfortable looking position ever because his dad WON'T move him.

I'm getting irritated just thinking about all of this lol.
