Estimated weight was on the 75th percentile, off the chart for femur legnth and her birth weight was 6lb uhmmm check my siggy lol, on the 25th percentile at 37 weeks. So not as big as they said she was.
At 31 weeks, they estimated Rocco to be almost 5 pounds. At about 37 weeks, they told me 9lb 6oz. I had him 3 days short of my due date and he was only 8lb 5oz. I think they over estimated him because he was really long (23.25 inches)
don't worry Hun, I was worried too, but they really can be WAY off with their estimates.
I had GD quite badly (injected 60 units of insulin 5 times a day and had to prick 7 times a day), and the day I delivered my OB/GYN guessed Miss M would be almost 9lbs and my Midwife guessed 8lbs 6oz. I guessed 7 lbs maximum. The first words I heard when she came out were, "Oh my God, she's just a tiny, wee little thing!" She was 6lbs 5oz
I was on insulin injections too. Maybe if they are worried about it they will put you on insulin. At about 36weeks, I found my sugars get better, which also found out the placenta matures really quickly with GD babies, so it was loosing its effectiveness.
