As usual, I'm hoping you ladies can help me. Yesterday I noticed that Alex has got a sore behind his left ear which is a little bit sticky and crusty right in the crease where his ear meets his head. I immediately bathed it and properly dried it and put some sudocrem on-I didn't have anything else in the house and wasn't sure what to do.
I've no idea what has caused it, and not sure how common it is, or how to get rid of it. My mum said my brother had the same thing when he was little. Alex doesn't generally lay on his left side to sleep, and when OH feeds him it is always to the side where the milk dribble down his left cheek and can go down behing his ear. I'm going to ASDA in an hour, to hopefully ask the pharmacist and get some advice, but can any of you ladies recommend anything?
Ben also has this but behind both ears :s, its a little bit like eczema in how it looks? Ben does tend to have dry skin so I just apply sudocrem, it goes and then sometimes comes back. I was told not to worry about Bens by HV.
I noticed this the other day... there was like this big piece of crust behind Alyssas ear.. i just washed it and put vaseline there (my fave thing atm cant live without it ) and its pretty much gone.. x
