Looking at his hands

My LO is really intersted in his hands. he keeps looking at them, touching them & holding them together. I used to use mittens when he's sleeping, but when I saw what e was doing with them I thought, it's a good idea to just leave them free for him to explore. Tonight, it took him two hrs to settle & sleep as he was continuously playing with them. If we try to hold them away, he will just scream. When he was feeding today, he touched my face & was moving his cute tiny fingures all over my face & mouth.

Does anyone else's LO doing the same?

yep, H is the same - today he spent about 10 minutes doing, almost like slow motion clapping - just bringing his hands together and taking them apart over and over again... whatever keeps him happy!

I think Noah is just realising he has hands!! I love the stage where they suddenly find their hands fascinating and giggle at them. Soooo cute!

Yeah, let him play with his hands, he'll find his feet later too and then it will be this all over again! Lol, so if it's not this, it'll be another thing.

Joe is always playing with his hands, staring at them and helping to hold the bottle while he's drinking. He used to wear scratch mitts when he slept, but now we don't bother as he likes to stare at his hands while he goes off to sleep!

I remember this! He used to hold his hand in front of his face & concentrate very seriously and twist it back and forth looking at both sides.
