can i use kettle de-scaler to descale my steam sterilizer?


god i feel like ive been posting loads recently! lol.

anyway im again in need of advice.
is it safe to use kettle liquid de scaler to descale my tommee tippee steam sterilizer?
if so, how did u do it??

i dont see why u couldnt but just to be on the safe side! lol. this site is so good for advice though isnt it u can ask anything without feeling stupid! lol.

Boots do a steam sterilizing solution theres 6 in the pack for 2.49 I think I used one last week & it worked wonders

Yes you can, I've used Oust on mine about 3 times now and its fine. I checked with HV and she said its ok

If you wanted to use something natural white vinegar will also do the trick

My Avent came with citric acid- you can buy it on ebay really cheap - that is the best stuff to use as its natural

yeh im going to get some proper stuff for next time but at the moment my cars broken down and no where round where i live would sell it, so how would i go about doing it with the kettle descaler? would i put some water mixed in with it? xx
