How long does your 1 month old stay awake at a time?

My LO isn't sleeping through feeds anymore.. I thought that would last a bit longer... guess not.

How long at a time does (or did) your 1 month old stay awake? My LO seems to be awake anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hrs before she goes down for another nap.

Joe would stay awake from about 45 minutes to 2 hours, depending on how he'd slept before, where we were, what time of day it was.

Now, at 6 months, he's ready for a nap about 1.5 hours after he woke up, he seems to love his sleep!

Mika can stay awake for four to five hours, but gets cranky toward the end. Getting him down for a nap is nearly impossible though! Will be watching this thread with great interest lol.

Sophie will wont sleep for a good hour after her feed, at least! She can then nap from between 30mins and 6 hours, just depends on how tired she is! I think at 1 month its still too soon to get into a proper routine with regards to sleep, Sophies patterns change each day

kacey is 5 weeks and is awake upto 30 minutes before and on average an hour after. sometimes more or less. she sleeps for between 1hr and 90 minutes during the day and 3 hours at night. If she gets overtired she fights sleep

45 mins to 1 1/2 hrs. He can and has stayed awake longer but at this age he shouldn't. The only reason he's kept awake is because he has gotten over-tired and wired. It's a vicious cycle and he's a much happier, content baby when I get him down to sleep before he reaches that point and has gotten his rest. It's so easy to miss the signs that they've had enough and need sleep.
