OH's parents

piss me right off!

They just cant leave freddie alone.

He was in his pushchair ealier and i agreed to meet them in town for a coffee so i fed him before so i didnt have to get him out and they spent FOURT FIVE MINUTES poking his fac, ticking his feet, squeezing his tummy, putting his muslin over his face then puling in away and saying "boo" and holding his hands.

They didnt even stop when their toast came AND they moved their chairs away from the table so they could both lean over the pushchair.

OH begs me not to say anything but i think im going to explode very soon. SO glad ive got somewhere to vent.

Why is it wrong that they want to play with him?

I also don't understand the issue here, except maybe over-enthusiastic grandparents who love their grandson enough to be interested in him. I guess 45 minutes is a long time but I'm also guessing your little boy wasn't screaming the shop down?

Well if he was sleeping that just seems a bit odd to me.

yeah was a bit . I really havent got anything against people playing with him cos I love it now hes more alert and interested in toys and things.

Its just when a baby is sleeping you should just leave them.

Ironically as soon as I left to come back home he woke up lol

I know what you mean Laura, its the whole thing of feeding the baby before going out, because you wanted him to sleep and not be disturbed, its annoying when grandparents make such a fuss that it wakes your little one up and stuff.

My goodness, what is it with the constant attacks on people ranting on here lately!
Why is it that after every rant iv seen in the last few weeks there is at least one person who deems it their right to judge the rant? We all have things that anoy us, rightly or wrongly, and we all need to let off steam sometimes - and imo its better people do that on here than actually lay into these well meaning but irritating people irl.
I do realise btw its not been too bad on this thread, but this has really wound me up recently. Iv hardly seen a single personal rant thats been left alone

aargh mine have just been round this afternoon and i just got her to sleep after a rough night too and they pick her up and wake her up !!

The only way she sleeps is after a feed so she started crying i quickly grabbed her and said she needs a feed for them run out the room because i was breastfeeding made me feel stupid, then she said that my OH will have to bring them to hers without me. I saud well i am breast feeding so cant really go without me. she replied why dont you express and feed her a bottle, because i dont want to !!! just because she wants to show her to the neighbours, she isnt a prize/item to be passed around !!

she spent 2 days in scbu because of low blood sugar which means its important for her sleep in between feeds !!
no one should wake a sleeping baby ever .
its getting me down and dont know how much more i can take of her
