Dom is 10 months old and mine is still working although part of the digital display is broken (you can just about make out what it says though). I won't be using it next time!

Once it didnt work but that was because I hadnt put enough water in it and it has a safety shut off when there isnt enough, could this be the problem or that it just needs descaling?

Sounds in general like they are not really a good make. Might just stick with the cold water but it is a pain and still doing 2 types of bottles. Thanks ladies.

I've had the same problem (from searching the Web, seems to be an issue with this steriliser). First one I had stopped working after about 6 weeks. Had the receipt and Mothercare happily exchanged it. Then it happened to the second one, so I emailed TT direct. It actually started working again fine and 3 months down the road it's still ok. But here's the reply that I originally got from TT:

"Hi,

Thank you for your e-mail regarding your sterilisers and sorry to hear of the problems you have had with these.

I would recommend if you still have your receipt, to return it to the store as this will be the easiest way for you to obtain a full refund or replacement.

If you would prefer, you can return this to us at the freepost address below for testing and we will certainly refund or replace this for you.

Many thanks
