What do you do with your 10/11 week old?

In terms of interacting with them etc?

I feel like I should be doing some more with Summer but I'm not sure what. I talk to her loads, play with her on her mat etc. Encourage her to babble away. She's rolled over a few times. Leave her to play alone on the floor. But I feel like maybe I should be doing something else, maybe encouraging her to do something.

Am I missing anything I should be doing?
What do you do?

I feel the same sometimes i'm sure she must get bored of me babbling on lol! I pretty much do the same as you but today i found a link for games to do with your baby, It goes up by weeks and looks really good...I've already tried the aeroplane (?) one and the one where you put baby on cardboard and slide it around floor (although i did it on changing mat) and she loved them .

heres the link:

We did reading and singing. Try netmums.com forclasses and maybe try baby massage classes. I'm not sure Abi gets so much out of it, but she loves being with other babies.
Summer is way ahead of her time if she can roll over!
I think all new Mums worry about not doing enough with their babies.

We do the same with our LO, chat away to him & he gurgles back, lots of smiling. Also play on his mat & sing & dance with him. That web link is brilliant though, so will be using that more for ideas.

I've been doing pretty much that same as you, I also got one of the bouncer things for the door as he can hold his head up fine and is always trying to stand up now so he loves that!

Might look into getting her one also. She's always had great head control and is quickly running out of patience for staying still. What one do you use for Dylan? xx
