6 month old cries whenever hes told no?

My son is about to be 6 months old. He is in to grabbing anything and everything. he started out grabbing my labtop cord and putting it in his mouth. I'v since firmly said now. I dont yell or anything. But when he grabs stuff and tries to put it in his mouth that could be dangerous i firmly say no and take the object away.

Since day one everytime i say no he cries? Anyone else have this?

Liam's the opposite..if I tell him "No." and move him away from whatever he's doing...he just laughs at me and crawls straight back over.

And Liam loves my laptop charger too. And the baby monitor which is now unplugged and out of reach when he's awake.

Hi,

At that age I don't think it is the word No he is upset by just the fact that you have taken away something that he wants! I would try and distract him with something else in that case.

Matthew is totally the same, he looks at me, smiles, then crawls straight back over to what i said 'no' to.

i wouldnt have though the is crying because you are saying no, its more likely to be because you are taking something away that baby wants to explore

Lana cries if i take anything from her that she is interested in, be it her toys, spoons or things she is not aloowed
