Contraceptive Implant anyone?

My partner and I have decided not to have any more kids we think 3 is quite enough so i decided to have the implant to be on safe side.

I can honestly say i really like it,

No periods (brilliant)

No gaining weight infact I've lost it.

High sex drive which OH likes.

On the pill i had no sex drive, was constantly on my period and forever gaining weight, I'm so much happier now...It's great

Good to know. I'm considering the implant because one child is more than enough.

are you girls talking about the implant that goes into your cervix or the one that goes into your arm. I am scheduled to get 'mirena' inserted into my cervix.

It will protect against babies for 5 years
Your immediately fertile once you get it removed.
No period for the 5 years.

But I am nervous it will hurt when they put it in because my cervix is closed !

I'm considering the arm implant, but really at this point any long term solution. Something that will get me the last couple years till menopause should do.

I got the implant in my arm after having Darcey. After an initial long bleed (3 weeks +) I haven't had any problems with it whatsoever. No spotting, so far no AF and I still have a sex drive altho chance would be a fine thing with 2 kids!

I had a constant ''period''. Very very gradual bleeding
I'm tired constantly
Appetite has gone
Increased sex drive

Yes i have the arm inplant. This is first time i've heard of the cervix one, think i would rather have the coil than that just the thought of it puts me off. Morgan i have 3 kids i never thought after having this baby that it would come back but it's come back stronger than ever
