did anyone else feel like this while pregnant?

i feel really really protective of my little man. I dont like the idea of everyone passing my baby around and kissing him on the head and things like that.
An i feel like im not going to want anyone to have him for a few hours. Lol it sounds silly but its really starting to worry me. I know family will want to be involved with things n sit n have a cuddle n maybe feed him. But i just feel like im not goin to want them to.
I dnt wnt to be over protective, but i just feel like i am guna be. Maybe its just because ibe had ppl saying my baby n thinking there guna b at mine everyday when he arrives i dont know.

Did anyone else feel like this? An if so what wa u like when ppl were holding your LO or had them for a few hours??

Xx

I felt like this once she arrived. I didn't think I would but for the first 2 - 3 weeks or so I didn't particularly like anyone else holding her for any length of time, it has eased up now though. I had to tell myself that people won't take her away, they just want to cuddle her for a few minutes.

I did feel the same. Now I'm happy to share her with the people I love when visiting although she hasnt been babysat yet (1st time will be in November when she will be nearly 4months and the new Harry Potter film is out).
But from the day she was born my fiancé and I have always known whats best for her - like how she prefers to be held so sometimes when other people do hold her I do find myself (even my mum & sister) to adjust her.

I'm really terrible. When she was little I would crack up if someone held her wrong, or kissed her, or anything. As she got older I felt a bit better though. I know that at the end of the day I get the best of her I refuse point blank to let anyone feed my LO but me and OH still.

I wont let anyone look after her but i need to let my guard down for the 2nd LO on its way, I'm going to need a lil support and my mum is offering!

I've never left Maya with anyone and I really don't want to either, and I've never let anyone else feed her either, just me and hubby. Even though I never breastfed Maya (I did express exclusively for the first two months though) I still think feeding is a bonding experience between parent and baby. I don't think that's me being overprotective though. The only person I don't like holding Maya is my MIL but I don't have a problem with anyone else cuddling her.

Im ok about it actually, In fact when someone else holds her I kind of feel a bit detatched, I dont feel as protective as I think I should, I suppose I only let people I trust implicitly hold her. I'm glad of the rest TBH, she is a little handful!

I felt like that when I was pregnant and in the first few weeks I wouldn't let anyone else feed her. I didn't mind people having cuddles though.

After a while though you'll be glad for the offer of someone else feeding (if you're FFing).
