Tax credits received on 'good' income?

Hi, can anyone help please? My dh is in the police and earns a 'good' income (according to government lol). We receive £10.43 tax credits per week for ds which although it isn't a lot actually covers his school dinners bill each week.

Does anyone know if this basic amount of tax credits increases with baby being born? Or is £10 just a set basic payment?

I've called the helpline but the systems ate down until Tuesday

Thanks for any advice

Chances are that if you are on a good income you will only be getting it until April though

Yes, you should get a baby element until your LO is 1.
