1st timer needs you ladies help with nappies!!

i'm only 3 months but i've decided to buy some nappies every month leading upto the birth to spread the cost, i was wondering if you can tell me roughly how many size 1 newborn nappies, and how many size 2 newborn nappies your LO's are going through, i know every baby is different i just want a rough idea,

nappies are based on weight so it really depends on the weight of your baby and how quickly they gain.

Saying that, I use cloth nappies so don't really have that issue.

Tbh hun, I'd get 2 packs of size 1s and 2 packs of size 2s, I ended up with 3 big packs of size one's left! LO's still in size 2 atm though!

If I mem I had two big packs of size 1, then a few smaller packs, I did have 1 1/2 packs of 1's left over, and 2 bg packs of size 2, now hes in 4's lol, Flown by. I stocked up on all that sort of stuff. Nappy sacks, nappies, baby wipes, bum cream, bubblebath, shampoo, powder, best to prepare yourself x

By 2 big boxes (250) of size 1s and 2 big boxes of size 2s. Mine is 7 weeks and I have ALOT of size ones left but I seriously need to go to size 2 but I'm trying to make size 1s last because I have so many left.

my LO was 7lb 3oz and still fitted the size 1 pampers new baby at 10.5lbs.
She is now 16wks and I guess about 13/14lb and I have heaps of sizes 2s left. Hoping I can fit her in them to use them up! Put a size 3 on at night.. I would get 1s and 3s, the size 2s are a bit hit and miss.

I stocked up loads nappies before Anna was born too - around 1500!!!

Anna was 6 lb 14 oz at birth.

I used 400 size 1 (up to 11lbs) - used size 1 til around 10 wks.
Only used 200 size 2 as there is a bit of overlap with the sizes.
Anna went into size 3 at 15wks, and used about 500.
Now in size 4 from 30wks on.

I have nappies enough to last her til she is 1!!! And have only spent £90 on that too!
