Why is she waking so early?

Olivia's always been a really good sleeper. She goes to bed at 8 and normally wakes up at 6. But now she's started waking at 4.30...Every morning...Without fail...Nothings changed. Her routine is exactly the same she's not drinking any less milk than she did before we haven't started weaning. I try feeding her at 4.30 and putting her back down but she outright refuses to go back to sleep...I left her in her basket intill 6 this morning when I finally gave in and got up. She doesn't cry or anything she just sits and "talks" to herself. Why is she doing this?? She started waking in the night a couple of weeks ago but she's now got herself out of that and started waking up ready to play at 4.30am

Any tips

have you thought bout maybe switching to cot. Is she is your room ,maybe she is being disterbed!do you feed at 4 when she wakes. Do you do it in the dark and quiet. Without talking to her. Kacey was more awear at that age. I needed to keep things dark and quiet if i wanted her back to sleep.that said kacey was very unsettled between 4 and 6 months. Think they go through some majour changes.

Yeah I feed her at half 4 the same way I would if she woke at 2. In the dark don't talk to her, don't change her bum unless completely essential. She just won't go back down at all.

My LO started doing the same thing when she was about 7 months.
I just let her babble away to herself as long as possible before lifting her for her morning bottle.
I think it was just a wee phase though because now she's back to her regular 6am wake up
