Does anyone bottle feed out of your own choice?

I feel like im the only one
I know it was my choice but whenever some1 asks me if im bottle feeding or breast feeding and i say bottle feeding i always feel really guilty or as if they are looking down on me. Its my choice.
Has any1 else chosen to bottle feed over breast feeding? If so do you always feel guilty for not trying breast feeding and putting LO straight on to the bottle?
xx

Don't ever feel guilty hon

I wasn't keen on breast feeding from the start but i knew i wanted to give it go. I lasted about 36 hours and just couldnt do it. My heart was never in it. She wouldnt latch on and tbh i was so exhausted and desperate to have me body back iykwim....bit selfish on my part but that's the way i felt

I've never felt guilty about bottle feeding her. She is a very healthy happy little girl

Don't feel bad. I think you have to do what is right for you and your lo and that is different for everyone. I am feeling bad as i am having to top up with formula but that is not because i am anti-formula it is because i chose to bf and am failing at it. If i had chosen formula (like many people i know) then i wouldn't worry about it. There is a lot of pressure out there though and it is easy for people to feel unnecessarily guilty. Try not to worry and be proud of your choice and that you have a happy healthy baby. x

Ur not failing. I guess its just different for every mother and baby, ur trying to breastfeed which is really good.
I guess i just feel guilty because i didnt even want to give it a go.
And i always see threads on here with people always saying every1 should try it

i FF from the start. I did feel guilty for not even trying it, but that was my choice. I think with my next i will try but im not going to 'force it' im over my guilt, my baby doesnt know any different from Formula, he doesnt know that there is another way of feeding. Xxx

i bottle fed beasue i wanted to always amazes me when people on here meantion they are ff and go on to explain why and justify it when the convo isnt even about that in the first place

people should be able to say yes i ff and then carry on with whatever, not give reasons why

im not a 'couldnt bf becasue.....' lady, i just ff becasue
