I am at my wits end!

I'm pretty sure Bella is teething. It seems early to me! She is only 3 months old!

She just screams and screams which is not like her at all. She is normally a pretty quiet and content baby. I try everything (change her, burp her, massage her tummy for gas, bounce her, try feeding her but she pulls away screaming). She constantly is shoving her hands and fingers in her mouth and sucks so hard on her thumb...and she has massive drool.

Tonight, hubby was rubbing her gums with his finger and she was just sucking/chomping away at it with strings of drool coming out of her mouth.

What can I do? I am going crazy from all the screaming! I read that they don't recommend the gels to soothe the gums..so just have some infant tylenol and teething rings at the moment, but I'm going insane!

I hate seeing her like this...it makes me just want to cry for her.

I know how u feel. Omar has been teething on & off since he was 4 mnths & until now he doesnt have teeth, for the past 24 hrs he's been having fever because of it & until now they not cutting through. TT cold teething dummies really helps. I dont know if u can find teething powder where u stay (we dont have them here) but many ladies here say they work. Little teething gel won't harm as it numbs the area, but dont use it frequently. U can also rub her gums with ur finger frm time to time. Hope she gets better soon hun xx

I use oragel anyways, it's a lifesaver.

Dr Sears says that in times like this, all you can do is CIO - "Cuddle It Out", just hold her as she cries. It's exhausting!

Mine sprouted a tooth already, it really isn't too early unfortunatley

We've used oragel as well and still do at times. I make sure to use only a small amount and only on the affected area

Also I found that infant motrin (or even advil) helped a LOT more than Tylenol ever did with teething

Definitely teething - and it's never too early, they can do it off and on for months, and sometimes babies are born with teeth (how freaky would that be! lol)

I know we were told not to use it as well, but used it anyway because everyone does, and I've never heard of there being an issue - as long as you use a very small amount directly on where you think the tooth is coming in.

We've also found a lot more success with motrin/advil vs. tylenol (tylenol works well for fever but that's about it)

Hope you all get some relief soon. Teething is no fun!!

Im from the uk so I have no idea what things you're talking about Jake is teething at the moment. I gave him some calpol and he was fine afterwards!! So he was in pain

I think their tooth buds can give them some pain too when things are getting ready to get going!x

Calpol is Tylenol for us (acetaminophen)
Calprofen is Advil/Motrin for us (ibuprofen)
