My eldest daughter had one at birth just below her ear (quite big - about the size of a 2 coin). She's now 13 and it's still there but it has faded to light brown. In fact, people who don't know what it is assume she hasn't washed properly!

My brother, sister, and I were all born with stork marks on our foreheads, and while mine isn't really visible, my little brother's still is, especially if he gets angry, embarassed, is straining, or anything else that makes his face flush. He's almost 15. With all of us, people asked what happened all the time, but my parents just explained it is a birthmark. My little sister is 15 and the one on her neck hasn't gone away at all.

Mika has one on his forehead and one on the back of his head, but they aren't terribly noticeable because he has darker skin.

Lachlan has a stork bite between his eyes (also nape of neck and back of head), it's still noticeable, I'd say slightly better than when he was a small baby but I don't really notice it all that much anymore. I will find some comparisons...

One from when he was a couple of months and one from yesterday at 7 1/2 months..
