Well my LO definitely came later! lol (1 month overdue)

I was heavier at birth than my OH by a good 3 lbs, but he was 1 inch longer than me. Then again, my sister was also shorter than him but also weighed less than he did. I think it all depends on the mom and how the baby grows.

Lucy was 7 days late, and weighed 10lb 2oz so I'd say your mums theory was a little flawed lol

Lo was 7lb1oz and a day early!! He slept 5 hours out of 24 for the first 8 weeks and walked at 9 months... Think he broke all those rules!!

not necessarily. my sister's LO (boy) was lighter at birth than Isla (he was 7lbs 4oz, Isla was 8lbs 1oz), but he's already caught up with her weight even though he's 4 weeks younger than her.

not really a pattern then is there really! i just wondered, i am quite small myself, my baby is estimated at weighing 5lb 14 at the moment...so think she might be quite small at birth- never know though really do you! everyone keeps saying that because i am short and slim i will have a small baby but we will see! cant wait x x x
