How long is your 3 month old awake for in the day?

My LO is 3 months now and can only manage to stay awake for about an hour sometimes an hour and a half. It doesn't seem that long but then I'm not sure if this is normal xx

Your LO was born on my birthday!
My DS is a bit older than three months, but he will stay awake for unto a couple of hours at a time. I started this same thread though, when he was three months. Today, he's been awake all afternoon, coz he would not go down for his afternoon nap, even though he was shattered!
HTH.
X

At 3 months my LO would nap alot, she'd wake up around 9 then nap again at 11:30ish till 12:30ish then go back down at 3ish till 5.. then stay awake until 9 for bedtime, she now gets up between 7:30 and 8am, then sleeps at about 11 till 12 then she sleeps at 3 till 4pm xx

My LO is nearly 4 months, but she can't stay awake for longer than 2 hours. If she does she gets really grouchy and just cries. So i think that's completely normal xx

Same here, it's extended recently but I remember being a bit worried at 3 months that she was sleeping too much. I think they go through a developmental bit and a growth spurt around this time which really tuckers them out then suddenly mature into shorter naps and longer playtime around 4 months.
