8/9/10 weeks & bed time/sleep

Our daughter goes to bed at 7.30pm after a breastfeed & sleeps until about 1.30 then feeds on a bottle then sleeps until about 5am then feeds on breast & sleeps until 7am. I'm worried her early bedtime will mean she doesn't ever sleep through the night but equally I enjoy having an evening with hubby baby free!

What are your 8/9/10 week olds doing?

I wouldn't worry about it, that sounds like an excellent schedule to me. I really wish my LO would've been able to do that! When Kenny was two months old he would nap throughout the day like usual and at night he'd sleep from 12am-5am which was OK at the time because I wasn't due back to work. He'd wake up at 5am and that would be the start to his day and he'd just nap more during the day since he didn't sleep that much at night. You're very lucky! I'm sure eventually your LO will start eating more and will start sleeping through those night feeds! Kenny is now falling asleep at 10pm and waking at 1am and 5am, then officially wakes up around 7am.

That's a very good sleep schedule for 10 weeks. Keep it up.

Out LO is 9 weeks and he goes to bed at 7pm after being breastfed, wakes up at 1 feeds again then and again at 4 & 7. I think that's good for his age, hopefully as he gets a bit older he might not need the 4am feed!

Evan feeds around 8pm and goes to bed and is usually asleep by 9.30. He wakes at 12, 5 and 8 give or take. Would like the 5am feed dropped and may attempt midnight dreamfeed. Evan has JUST started doing this, before then he wouldn't sleep till 2,3,4 am!!

That seems like a great routine!

Aria goes to bed at 8.30pm and is now starting to get to sleep by 10pm and she wakes at 7am for a feed. She goes back down for about 30/45 mins then back up. I take in in the bathroom while I have a shower and she plays on her chair and smiles at herself in the mirror (poser just like her mum, haha). The we go and I get dressed and then I give her another feed and she falls asleep on me so I move her to her moses and she usually sleeps for about an hour. So start to our day is about 10/11. She then plays and sleeps on and off all afternoon (never more than 20 mins at a time unless in the car or pram)... bath at 7.30pm and start again!

Its only recently got like this tho. Up until last wee she was awake till about 2/3am so OH and I never got to spend time together at night.

xxx

Chloe goes to bed about 8. She will doze off by about 8.30, then either be up for a feed at 2.30am then 6.30am, or 4.30am then 7am. She will nap in the pushchair while we do the school run then has a big nap in her moses basket or on the bed with me from 11.30 to about 1.30pm. She catnaps through the rest of the day but only for 10 minutes or so at a time.

This is a normal day but we do have the odd ones where she wont go to sleep at night until about midnight and refuses point blank to sleep for more than about an hour in total during the day....needless to say these are the days where nothing gets done!!

xx

EDIT:she's 8 weeks x

My lo is 11 weeks and we've had him on a routine for about 10 days now of bottles at 8am, 12, 4 then bath at 7.30, bottle and bed at 8. We dream feed around 10.30 and he was waking up about 4 for night feed. Last few nights he didn't wake til 5 and last night slept til 6!!! Only problem is it's thrown me off routine for today now grrrrrrrr!

He doesn't have set nap times in the day but will usually have an hour or so in the morning, then sleep from about half 4 til 7 with a few cat naps inbetween, he doesn't luke to sleep much in the day in case he misses anything!

Our nights look very similar - bedtime routine around 700, in bed by 800, up around 130 for feed and then up at 600 for the day (with a feed).
