Grey around mouth and nose and winceing in LOs sleep?

Is this wind?! It worries me as he pants quite a lot, fast breaths and then bigger heavier ones. Argh, worry, worry, worry! xx

That sounds exactly like wind to me. Molly has always snuffled, panted, snorted, snored, whined, sobbed etc in her sleep. I think your LO is completely normal

Also when they are asleep the blood flow slows down because our hearts slow in our sleep so the lips, eyelids and nose can appear to have a blueish grey tint to them and is completly normaly
It happens to adults as well but more noticable in babies because their skin is thinner and newer.
The strange breathing pattern is often just a newborn thing and before long youll probably notice he has about 5/6 different breathing patterns while asleep and awake untill they just get a bit more used to regulating thier breathing

I was told by my doctor that if LO has a grey mustache it's more likely to be wind.
