Nappy issues

My LO is FF and poops every one to two days but when she goes, she really goes.

Her nappies hardly ever contain it. I've tried pampers but her poop goes up her back and I've tried Tesco's own and the poop goes up her front. The nappies should be the right size.

Is this. Inevitable with babies or is it worth trying more different brands? Her nappies never leak when she wets, just when she poops.

I would like to prevent it (at least make it less often) as it's a huge job to clean her up and to stop it ruining her clothes. I would also really like to get into a routine of bath before bed but right now have to bath as and when she poops

We seemed to always have leaky poo nappies no matter which make we put him in. Not had one since we switched to cloth

Hi hun, I had this problem at one point. It's horrible. Have you tried going up to the next size nappy if you use disposables? So far touch wood, my dd seems to have out grown the problem but I tried loads of different nappies. Have you tried Asda little angel ones or Sainsburys Little ones nappies? I really like the sainsburys ones

Little Angels are amazing! I found pampers to thin and Huggies leaked loads. Sometimes if they havn't pooed for a few days, they do massive ones which can go everywhere..

Aldi Mamia nappies are the only nappies that have only ever leaked once when she had watery poo and she was in her jumperoo whoops.. they are amazing nappies and i used to be abit of a snob, huggies were good when she was newborn but as she grew they didn't fit round her stomach and always leaked when she pooped and pampers were just the same x

Same here too! We've tried most brands and huggies seem to be the best for us. Shes 8 weeks now and the 'explosions' seem to be less often..
