Been told I can't have anymore children

I have a lot of health issues and my pregnancy made them a lot worse, I have been very ill since september.
My consultant has advised that I don't have anymore children. I am gutted. I want Owen to have a little brother or sister. My OH thinks its for the best as he has seen how ill I have been.
But I would go through that for a baby.

I've been hanging on to Owens clothes for the next baby. But have been sorting them today in tears to sell.

I am devestated

*hugs* im so sorry you've been told that, maybe you could wait a couple of years and see how you feel then? maybe the consultant will change his mind if your health has improved any over a few years.

i know you probably dont want to hear it , but there are lots and lots of little children and babies waiting to be adopted in loving families. you could still have a brother or sister or both for Owen!

I was just going to say that in a few years, you might want to start thinking about that, once your ready to.

Aw hun, I can't imagine what you must be feeling That's horrible news, but your LO will love you just as much whether he has a brother or sister or not. Remember the news is still fresh and raw at the moment, but later down the line you might feel a bit better about it.

What you have to think about is that I'm sure your LO would much rather have his mummy fit and healthy, or even there, than a brother or sister and have a very poorly mummy or even worse.

xxxxxx

Big

I can only echo what others have said..hold on to hope hun, and if you can't carry one in your tummy, it sounds likle you've got a lot of room in your heart to give to a child without a mum and dad.
