"love song" suggestions for baby

I want to make a little movie with the collection of pictures of my son from when he was born to when he's one. I could do with some suggestions for songs that would be suitable as a backing track. There's some love songs that I thought might be suitable and then realise it has an inappropriate lyric that is more suited to a couple (like saying about making love or something). The one I thought of is "you are so beautiful" by Joe Cocker as that seems fitting but would like some other suggestions if you have any!

Your Song the Ellie Goulding version. Poppy was born in Nov and this was all over the radio and on the John Lewis Christmas advert - it will always be a special song that reminds me of her and the words are perfect.

A friend of mine sadly lost his wife and daughter in a car crash last year. The song he used to play to her when she was alive (and that I believe was played at their wedding) and the one he uses to remember them by now is the Carpenters - Close to You. I can't listen to it now without thinking of him. xx
