I only know 1 person with a 6month old. The rest are mostly grandparents by now! There are no mother and baby groups here, the French don't really seem to be into it. There is a facebook page for Parents in France and on the babycentre.co.uk site there is a section in the forum for parents in France. You might find someone near to you. The facebook page has a map with marks where people are.
Oh you've been here quite a while. Are you one of the lucky sods to be fluent in French? I'm not bad but should be better!
And I'm from the exciting midlands, Longford!

For those of you who are expats, do you attend any mom/baby groups? We have some here but they are all in French, I know I really need practice but I'm nervous to attend!

I haven't been to any groups, I'm pretty nervous to attend too.. I'm doing my best to learn French but it's a slow process. How can you find groups in your local area ? What's the best place to start ? It would be great organising a get to together !
