Baby keeps rubbing right ear - teething?

Yesterday and today my LO has been rubbing his right ear quite a lot, whilst doing this he is quite irritable. But other than this he seems very content and happy in himself (this leads to believe it's not an ear infection).

When he's bighting on his fingers, he's also bighting towards the right side of his mouth.

Is this likely to be teething? Could ear rubbing mean there is one on its may and may make an appearance shortly?

I know he's still a little young "on average" to get a tooth, but he's shown other teething symptoms for a while xx

My LO has done this on a few occasions - both times it was an ear infection (even though she seemed happy and content) She's on antibiotics again now

My LO was also tilting her head to one side

Not saying this is the case for your LO's though...... Just keep an eye on it - it is more likely to be teething I think xxx

My LO does this when she's tired, she gets a bit grumpy and rubs, scratches, pulls her ear and then shortly afterwards she rubs her eyes and is ready for a nap xx
