I don't but wanted to offer hugs
Are you newly diagnosed or struggling at the moment? I'm sure there will be others who can offer some support.

It is very hard when hes on a downer but he gets more high and belated than down. Its hard knowing that my LO is more likely to get it & he doesnt take his medication anymore. He was on antipsycotics (sp?) but hasn't taken them in a while :/

I think if you have a strong support network you will find things get easier he was diagnosed 9 years a go and he feels as if he has it under control, although it will always be there he knows who to go to and what to do if he has an 'episode' xx

If your moods are still swinging that bad, you need your meds adjusted, added to, or subtracted from. See a phsychiatrist again. Seroquel is a really good one for the down part of it. There are a handful of others that might help when added to the Lithium. Your Lithium might need adjusted. If you are on lithium you should be seeing a doc regularly and getting bloodwork done anyway, right? So, I assume you should have reasonable access to a doctor to discuss your struggles?
