Soreness after birth but no stitches?

Every time I go for a wee it really stings down there and does for a while after. Sitting and walking can be pretty painful too. I didn't tear so don't understand why. Is it normal?

I had a c-section, but I have read that what you are experiencing is normal for someone who had a vaginal birth. Did they give you some ice packs? Those are supposed to help with the soreness.

I had grazes, get a mirror have a look dow there and trust me you'll see why it hurts I think its mainly swelling, i was that swolen i felt like i had a willy haha.

AGive it a week or so should get better, It hurt for me to wee and going for a poop was worse. I was told to add salt or bicarbaonate to my bath water to help heal and reduce swelling.
Hope things get better for you!

It would be pretty surprising if it didn't hurt- you get pretty stretched out down there even if it doesn't tear! At 4 days it's not only normal, it's universal!

Totally normal! I didn't tear or anything either, but I was plenty sore. It burned every time I peed. The hospital gave me this squirt bottle to fill with warm water to squirt myself before/after/during/whenever I needed when I had to pee. It helped sooo much. Adding salt/bicarbonate to baths helps too.

Totally normal. I had a tear but MW reconed most of my pain was actually coming from my brusing rather than the tear. The pain disappeared over night when he was about 7 days.
