It's up to you, really. I've never really worn him throughout the day, but he's never really gotten so upset that I needed to. If it works for you and keeps both you and baby happy then I would do it!

yea i agree with the ladies who say if LO needs it, a lot of LO will have a meltdown if you put them down, or worse, they'll be okayish but just won't sleep as well as they would by being held. I wore LO constantly for 3 months, then she was happy to be put down, but not for naps. During naps I held her every single time till she was 6 months and since then i still lay with her until she's asleep but i can sneak away now and she's fine. personally, as you can tell from above, i would do whatever LO needs to get well rested.
