Let's talk about ... poo!

Or more specifically, it's consistency .

My lo is 6.5 months and formula feed. Apart from a period of two weeks where he has having infant gaviscon for reflux which bunged him up he has always had runny poos.

Is this usual? The consistency is more custard than milk iykwim

I've had every poo possible!! Orange and runny , mustard and runny while bf.. Mustard and thick, khaki green, watery mustard, watery khaki , grainy and a really thick khaki now!! Every poo is normal so I'm told as long as it's really watery or blood stained!! I've stopped analysing poo now!!

My little one is just over 4 months and is ff and has always had soft poos. They have been a dark green horrid colour for months but this past week have turned to a more mustard colour but still really soft. Suppose its better than trhem being constipated.xx

Thanks all, that's reassuring to know.

Oh how my life has changed - I really never thought that this would be a conversation I would ever be interested in

Holidaysan - blw started last week so now I will turn my attention to the content of the poo rather than the consistency

Thomas is FF... his poos are 'thick' kind of like mousse? A bit greeny too... sometimes has black in it

looks like all are LO's have a wide range of poo's lol. My LO's are different all the time. Weve had green, orange, yellow, seedy. Weve even had a sort of red one which made me panick. Then i remembered what he'd ate the day before lol.
