all out of sorts.....

my lo has been all out of sorts for the past probably 2 days.

yesterday she wasn't finishing any of her bottles which of late is pretty much unheard of, she takes the milk and then spits it back out or lets it dribble out the corner of her mouth and her sleeping is all to cock

normally she wakes every 3 to 4 hours for a bottle but through the night she woke at 2 (after 4 hours so normal) and had 2 oz if that of her bottle then went back to sleep but then woke up about 4 and I tried giving her the rest of her bottle but she didnt seem to interested though she did have a bit more of it but then really struggled settling down again and did an awful lot of grunting and groaning and wriggling til the point I got up with her at 5.30 and brought her downstairs and she ad a bot more milk then went to sleep again and shes still asleep now though very restless

Shes not crying or anything just grunts and groans a lot, Im not too sure what to do or what could be wrong

Wow very strange to read this as I've just said to hubbie that LO isn't his normal self. He has been sleeping loads since yesterday afternoon and when he isn't sleeping he's really unsettled. Still feeding as normal though. Interested to see the replies. Lx

There's a wee growth spurt coming which can really unsettle them! But it could be wind if they are wriggling, ESP if they are stretching their legs out.

I think it's a growth spurt as last night I cluster fed from 4 - 10. It's paid off for me since he's slept from 10.30 and that's him just stirring now. Lx

It could be constipation.

I would say growth spurt or gas.

Sophia's first growth spurt she ate very little and slept a lot. This time it's the opposite. She's eating quite a bit and not sleeping much.

whats cluster feeding?

Its not constipation. She doesnt seem to be in pain, maybe uncomfy but not crying or anything like that.

Last night I woke her at 1 (she should have had a bottle about 11ish but didnt wake for it) and she had 5 oz then. About 4.30 she woke again so \i got her bottle etc and she started grunting straight away and started spitting the milk out. I ended up down on the sofa with her again as she was making so much noise and I didnt want her waking oh, and she had maybe 2 oz and we fell asleep sat up on the sofa til my phone alarm went off at 6.45 (school run time). She went straight back to leep and other than me putting her in her car seat to go to school she didnt wake until 9.30 when she then had a bottle of 5oz

During the day she is ok just night times she seems more restless
