Right now she's so small and new that it seems wrong to leave her in her cot when she wants to be with us, so it's we're happy to have her when she wants us, it would just be nice if she'd stay asleep when we put her in the crib.

Back to my original question, does anyone think it would be safe to put the lambs wool buggy liner in the crib as she seems to really like this?

I would as long as it's can be secured to the mattress so it's under LO.

Do you have a carrycot with your pram? My LO wouldn't settle in the crib so I used to put the carrycot inside it with the hood up etc. so it was nice and snug. Also used to warm it up with a hot water bottle before putting LO in and swaddle her nice and tightly.

We have the Quinny Buzz 3 buggy with the footmuff and a lambs wool liner, but not the carry cot. I think tonight I'l try putting the liner in and warming it first with a hot water bottle and, get her to sleep on me or em swaddled nice and tight then put her in the cot once asleep. Fingers crossed she'l stay asleep for more than two mins.

A big thanks for all your post's, this seems like a very active and useful forum, cheers girls

My concern with the pram cover thing would be overheating. If that bit's designed to keep her warm outside, it'll probably be too hot for her to sleep under safely indoors for longer than a nap.

We had a co-sleeper cot, so a 3 sided cot basically, which attached to our bed. It meant we shared a sleep space and effectively shared a bed, but LO always had his own space and when he got too wriggly, we were able to put the side up and he was already used to the cot and the mattress and everything. If its possible to do that, I'd recommend it as a nice halfway option between co-sleeping and a separate cot

I was going to suggest the co-sleeper cot too It's worth a try, and is a lovely mid-way between co-sleeping and LO having independant sleeping space.
