Upsetting Content Inside RE cosleeping.

Read at your own risk.

I wasn't going to post this but the more I thought about it the more upset it makes me. This is obviously an awful thing that has happened to this family and now these charges on top of it? Am I wrong? Is this right?

Hmm I wasnt going to post as co-cleeping posts tend to get heated, (not saying you are trying to start a row of course!) but I find it quite upsetting that a couple who have lost a child before due to co-sleeping would do it again??

Or is that just me? If I had co-slept and this awful thing happened, I dont think I would be able to co-sleep again with my next child?? Very sad story though xx

By the sounds of the article the police don't believe that these deaths were "accidents of co sleeping".if done correctly co sleeping is the safest way to sleep but this article makes it sound like maybe the baby was in the middle of both parents and either under the duvet or the dad rolled overwhich I could see happening if someone was unaware of how to co sleep safely but if it has happened before I'm sure no one would let it happen again so I'm not convinced the police r wrong.

Either way two tiny lives have been lost and it is very tragic xx

as always, there seems to be more to this story than meets the eye.
i agree if it had happened once due to lack of knowledge you would make damn sure to read up and get advice if you were to co sleep again. something not quite right there.

It's so tragic, I've read that the baby was in between them . That's not safe co-sleeping, he was apparently originally placed on his back but was on his tummy when the mum awoke.

Co-sleeping if done correctly is actually very safe, to have this happen twice doesn't sit right with me at all.

Done properly following guidelines co seeping is very safe and has a lot of pros... reading that hasn't put me off.. it's worked for my 2 and we're all happy. Reading that just made me feel that the parents are irresponsible and there is more than meets the eye there... Poor babies

IMO they deserve to be sentenced, yes it is terrible and had it been the first time i would thing it was terrible and the parents shouldnt face charges but if i had lost a child through sharing a bed once i sure as hell would never share a bed with another baby ever again safely or otherwise.

I dont think that any parent could share a bed again after losing one child because of it so it just seems really strange, why would you do that? poor little babies.
