Extra child tax credits when putting baby in nursery

I'm thinking of putting my lo in nursery for 1 day a week ... For those of you who do put there lo in nursery for 1 or 2 days how much extra help do you get money wise ..

I know nurserys by me are like 50 odd pounds a day

You'll only be eligible if you're putting LO in nursery so you can work, and then only if your household income is below a certain level.

Are you looking at finding work for the day LO is in nursery? You can claim childcare vouchers which save you tax on the nursery upto around £240 per month, it comes straight from your salary so it's only for employed parents.
If not working then ofcourse there's no extra benefit.

It's 80% for people who get the maximum CTC and get WTC.
